Play

Play by Kylie Scott

My Rating (out of 5 stars):

4 stars—I really liked it!

Amazon Description:

“Mal Ericson, drummer for the world famous rock band Stage Dive, needs to clean up his image fast-at least for a little while. Having a good girl on his arm should do the job just fine. Mal doesn't plan on this temporary fix becoming permanent, but he didn't count on finding the one right girl.

Anne Rollins never thought she'd ever meet the rock god who plastered her teenage bedroom walls-especially not under these circumstances. Anne has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a wild life-of-the-party drummer couldn't end well. No matter how hot he is. Or could it?”

My Thoughts:

This is the second book in the Stage Dive series. I loved the first book--Lick--and I loved this one too! I think this one was even better with character development.

I really like Scott’s style. Each member of the band has their own distinct personality. Dave, from the first book, is the cool/sensitive guy. Mal is the funny guy and this book definitely made me laugh. I liked Anne a little better than Ev, too.

Next up is Jimmy...the bad boy. Swoon. The bad boy is always my favorite.

For my romance reader friends...give ALL the Stage Dive books a try! Lick, Play, Lead, Deep
