One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are by Ann Voskamp

Voskamp relates how she tries to find joy in every day experiences. This is a theme I generally enjoy, however, not in this case. Honestly, this author seems to be a good bit  off her rocker. Everything in this book is overwhelmingly religion based (Christianity)…if you like that, you may enjoy some of this. But aside from her contradictory (and sometimes very strange) religious quotes, the writing is just very poor.

I would not recommend this one. Kudos to Voskamp for feeling like she is living fully…I didn’t get that impression, at all. In fact, I would try very hard NOT to live my life in this manner.
