Shadow Prey by John Sandford

Sandford is one of my favorite suspense authors. This is the second book in his Lucas Davenport series. In the police thriller/suspense genre, Sandford keeps is simple. His plots are not contrived or completely far fetched, like some of his peers. No tricks necessary, he just tells a good story. I like that Lucas, the main character in this series, is flawed and I’m excited to see how his character continues to develop.
