The Reversal by Michael Connelly

Any Michael Connelly fans out there? I recently finished “The Reversal” and really liked it. I am adding Connelly to my author list!

Connelly wrote in strong suspense that kept me turning the pages. I didn't love the ending of this one, but I would still recommend it!

In Death

For lovers of crime fiction with strong female leads, try the “In Death” series by JD Robb. I am in the midst of the series and have not gotten bored yet!

The Talented Mr. Ripley

My list recently threw “The Talented Mr. Ripley” by Patricia Highsmith into my hands. I have not seen this movie, but knew the plot from movie advertisements.

In this old-fashioned crime novel, the reader is able to enter the mind of a sociopath. I liked the speed of the book; very descriptive and the suspense of what would happen to Tom Ripley kept me reading.

I know this is the first in a series, but I don’t feel the need to read the others, although I enjoyed this one.

Still Missing

Chevy Stevens debut novel "Still Missing" had me hooked from the first page. I relished the way the story unfolded as the main character tells the story of her abduction to her therapist. The plot was intriguing, with many twists and turns. I am tagging this author for future reading.
