reading zone and try something you usually wouldn’t. You can look up the descriptions at Amazon.com, or search my blog for old posts by entering the title in the little search box in the top left-hand corner and clicking the magnifying glass.

Call After Midnight

Call After Midnight by Tess Gerritsen
Hmmmm….Gerritsen’s earlier work is definitely not up to the Rizzoli/Isles series I am so in love with.

This one was a cookie-cutter suspense, full of contrived characters and lacking in true suspense.

Overall, it was just an okay read, which is surprising from Gerritsen. The Rizzoli/Isles series is brilliant! If you are giving Gerritsen a try for the first time start with "The Surgeon."

The Silent Girl

The Silent Girl by Tess Gerritsen

Tess Gerritsen is ridiculously talented!

This is the next installment of the Rizzoli/Isles series. In my opinion, this is one of the best suspense series out there. Gerritsen is graphic, but keeps me enthralled and guessing every time.

First in the series is “The Surgeon” if you want to give it a try.

The Keepsake

The Keepsake by Tess Gerritsen

I am still enthralled with this series.Gerritsen never disappoints.

Each book has its own plot, strong suspense and the complex characters I have grown to love.

Gerritsen is an amazing crime/suspense author. If you like this genre, and haven't yet read Gerritsen, give her a try!

The Mephisto Club

The Mephisto Club by Tess Gerritsen

I am still loving Gerritsen's Rizzoli/Isles series. It is amazing how Gerritsen keeps you on edge until the end. I was questioning everyone in this one! The only complaint I had was that I felt the ending was a little abrupt. On to the next!

Fans of thrillers with strong female leads should definitely start this series.

Vanish

Vanish by Tess Gerritsen

I recently finished book five in this series. Gerritsen again brings an ultimate thriller to the page. I was hooked by her first book. I recently read that she is a retired internist. That must be why her detail is so vivid.

Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles both continue to be developed into complex characters. On to book six!

Here is the list so far,

The Surgeon
The Apprentice
The Sinner
Body Double

Body Double

“Body Double” is book four in the Jane Rizzoli series by Tess Gerritsen. I am still tuned into this series and enjoying each book. “Body Double” didn’t disappoint. The suspense was rich and the plot chilling.

Gerritsen is a phenomenal writer. On to the next!

Outstanding Suspense Author

For fans of thriller/suspense, Tess Gerritsen is a must-read. I am currently into the Jane Rizzoli/Maura Isles series and so far, I have loved every book. Gerritsen writes in stunning detail and keeps the reading in suspense.

First time reading Gerritsen? Try: "The Surgeon."
