Well, the description of this book on Amazon is ridiculous, so I’m not quoting it here. I’ve never seen such a silly way to describe a book. They basically say they don’t want to tell you anything about the book, you just have to read it. If I hadn’t had this recommended I wouldn’t have read it based on that blurb, alone.

Really bad promotion, in my opinion.

My Thoughts:

My own description—This book is about a young Nigerian girl, trying to find a place in England, away from her war torn home. It is about a husband and wife who witnessed a horrific ordeal while visiting her country. It is about human frailty and emotion.

I enjoyed the richness of the characters Cleave created. The plot was interesting and kept me reading.
